Rainbow Landscape Irrigation & Maintenance (landscape contractor) did this hardscape work in the backyard & landscaping work in the side yard at this property in the city of San Rafael, Marin County, California. We started with grading both the backyard and side yard surfaces. Then we proceeded to install a french drainage in these areas.
The next step was the lay out for both the custom designed stone patio and the stone sitting wall, which were built using a solid concrete foundation. Both the outdoors patio and the sitting wall were completed with bluestone finish. Once we completed the stone work phase, we moved to planting plants and trees in both the backyard and side yard along with a new drip system to water the new plants and trees. The homeowner asked specifically for a dripping system to control the quantity of water used to water the plants and trees. Step stones were placed in the side yard as a walkway to access the backdoor through the side door and vice versa. Finally, mulching the backyard and side yard completed this outdoor landscape project.
