Rainbow Landscape Irrigation & Maintenance (landscape contractor) did this backyard hardscape & landscaping project in the city of San Rafael, Marin County, California. The first step we did was grading the surface in the backyard. Then we proceeded to installing a french drainage. The next step was the construction of the outdoor custom-made stone patio, which was completed with Arizona flagstones finish.
Then we started the outdoor custom designed BBQ set up. The outdoor custom BBQ set up was built using solid concrete for both the foundation and the walls. These walls and countertop have an Arizona flagstone finish to match up the new built outdoor custom stone patio. The custom BBQ set up includes a power line to plug in electrical devices for a better cooking experience, stainless steel grill powered by a natural gas line, sink & utility drawer.
The outdoor custom designed fireplace is 7 ft tall, built with a solid concrete structure, sitting benches on both sides, powered by a natural gas line, and the walls have an Arizona flagstone finish as well to match up the custom stone patio and the outdoors barbecue set up. Sodding, planting & mulching was done afterwards with an irrigation system to water the new grass area and plants. The side yard was landscaped as well, with pea gravel and Arizona step stones walkway.
