Rainbow Landscape Irrigation & Maintenance (landscape contractor) did this landscaping and hardscaping project in San Anselmo, Marin County, California. This is a brand new house that required new landscape construction. This landscape project involved both the front yard & backyard.
For the backyard, new natural grass was laid out, a bluestone patio and a wood fence were built. An irrigation system to water the new lawn. For the front yard, the landscape plan included a large veneer stone retaining wall. We started with grading the surface for the first time. Then we installed the drainage. Then we did a second and final grading. The next step was to build the engineering retaining wall with veneer bluestone finish. We planted some plants with a drip system for proper watering. The last thing to do was mulching the topsoil areas.
